Universities

Spanish Universities, like their British counterparts, offer several degree programmes depending on the level (undergraduate or post graduate) and subject to be studied. The most basic first degrees are Diplomaturas, which take 3 years. Licenciaturas usually take 4 or 5 years, medicine takes 6. There are also numerous further Doctoral degrees for post graduate study. If your education has been in Britain and you intend to go to a Spanish University you will need to have your British qualifications convalidated before you can be accepted on a course.
